What This Product Is
The hardener (curing agent) that pairs with our low-viscosity epoxy resin. Mixed with the resin at the specified ratio, it cures the mixture at room temperature into a clear, hard castable mount. It is formulated to match the resin's low viscosity and penetration.
Intended Use in Metallography
Used with the epoxy resin at the mounting step for room-temperature castable mounting. Selected whenever the low-viscosity epoxy resin is used — the two are a matched system.

- Cold mounting of fragile, porous, or heat-sensitive specimens
- Vacuum impregnation of cracks and pores
- Petrographic and electronics mounting (with the resin)

- On its own — the hardener is used only as part of the two-part epoxy system
