What This Product Is
A conductive, graphite-filled hot compression mounting compound. The graphite filler makes the cured mount electrically conductive, so the specimen can be examined or processed with techniques that require a conductive path — without applying tape, paint, or coatings.
Intended Use in Metallography
Used at the mounting step when the mount must conduct electricity. Selected when:
- Preparing samples for SEM (scanning electron microscopy) and EBSD
- Electrolytic polishing or etching, which need a conductive mount
